Privacy Policy and Cookies

Here you’ll find information on how we treat data that we collect from visitors to our website, when someone uses our contact form or booking system, or when someone subscribes to our email newsletter. We make every effort to be transparent about how we collect, use and process your data, to keep your information safe and secure, and to be compliant with GDPR legislation. If you think we have not achieved this, please let Ruth Randall know immediately.

Visiting our Website

When someone visits www.ruthlrandallcoaching.com we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. Neither ourselves nor Google make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. You can read more about how Google Analytics safeguard your data here.

If you have visited our website via a link from social media such as Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter, these sites also use analytics to track patterns such as page popularity. Data policies can be viewed here for Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.

You can opt out of analytics cookies on this website, and you can find out more about this and how cookies are used on this website in the Cookies Policy below.

If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will tell you. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

Contact Forms and Membership Registration

We use a website host based locally in the UK. Any information you put into a contact form on this site is processed through their secure server, and any details you add to the membership area of this site are also processed through that server. We take your privacy seriously and expect our partners to do the same. You can read about BLS Computer Solutions here.

Membership subscriptions are managed externally through Paypal, your payment information is not processed through or collected by this site. If you have any queries about how Paypal is collecting and processing your data, please contact them directly.

Newsletter Sign Up

If you opt-in to receive updates through our email newsletter, we collect personal information, but only the information we really need, nothing more. We use that information to tell you about the things you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information, and check in every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We never share email lists or sell them to other organisations.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.

You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing Ruth Randall.

Booking Calendar

When you click the button to book a consultation call you are redirected to an online calendar. We only collect the specific information we need in order to contact you for this call. If we do not work together beyond this call your information is not kept, and we certainly won't add you to a mailing list unless you choose to opt-in for the newsletter in the usual way. We use YouCanBook.me as our booking system, and you can read their privacy policy here.

Links to Other Web Sites

This privacy notice does not cover the links within this site linking to other websites. If you follow a link to another site from here, for example, to watch a video or read an article we have recommended, please check that site’s own privacy statement.

You are entitled to access the personal information that we hold. Email your request to Ruth Randall.
