Qualifying as a coach is only the beginning of the journey
Where do you need momentum in your coaching practice?
Business Mentoring for Coaches
Starting or growing your coaching practice can feel confusing and overwhelming, but once you get started it can be an exciting adventure. One that enables you to do the work you love while transforming the lives of your clients.
Great coaches don’t necessarily have everything they need to be business owners, at least not in the beginning. Growing a practice can be a huge learning curve in itself. It can be overwhelming in the beginning you’re trying to be a great coach and serve your clients, while also trying to figure out how to reach them and build a successful, sustainable business.
You’ll receive so much different advice from experts in their field who tell you what they believe is the best way to get clients. Instagram, referrals, Facebook ads, networking. And they’re all right, all of those things work. But let’s find the thing that works for you, the time and energy you have available to you right now, and the vision you have for your life and your coaching practice. There are so many different ways to move forward, your social media is probably flooded with adverts promising a six-figure coaching business, but let’s find the way for you to grow your practice and reach your ideal clients in a way that feels enjoyable.
The Business Momentum Programme helps you develop a clear vision, strategy, and implementation plan, while doing the important inner work to become a resilient business owner.
You’re a coach, so you already know that when you’re trying to achieve something you’ll stay on track and get there faster with a coach and mentor to help you strategise and focus.
I trained and qualified as a coach with Animas Centre for Coaching in 2015, and despite having run a small business previously, I was completely naive when it came to building a coaching practice. I’ve made all the mistakes and learned from them, wasted time and money on ‘experts’ in one field or another before learning what really works for growing a successful coaching practice. The truth is that there isn’t one magic method that suits everyone, and you need to find the way that works for you and your clients. Over the years I’ve had to learn about marketing, sales, operations and finance, as well as how to create and deliver on a strategy. I want to share this with you.
My clients have started and grown a variety of businesses – coaching practices, wellness businesses, creative workshops, floristry, and even a gundog training school. My clients like my down-to-earth, practical and pragmatic approach. I don’t really do ‘fluff’.
You won’t see me posting inspirational quotes on Instagram, sharing photos of me with my laptop working from the beach, promising you a six figure business, or talking about my fabulous lifestyle. You don’t need all that stuff. Let’s be real, and just get on and do the work, and help you get to where you want to be.
I don’t have an overnight success story. A few months after qualifying in 2015 I left my job in social care to focus entirely on my coaching practice, doing other freelance work to support me financially until I was able to rely only on coaching and mentoring for my income. I was offered a role as Head of Mentoring at Animas Centre for Coaching, which evolved into Head of Operations. I love that this role enables me to be fully immersed in the world of coaching while also running my own practice.

Coaching Supervision performs three main functions:
I qualified as a coach with Animas Centre for Coaching in 2015, and worked with them as a mentor and group supervisor until 2019 when I became their Head of Operations, supporting their coaches-in-training over hundreds of hours during that time. I’ve had my own coaching practice since 2015, and qualified as a Coaching Supervisor with the International School of Coaching Supervision in 2020, supervising coaches throughout the Covid19 pandemic and the additional challenges this brought into their work as coaches. I continue to coach and supervise as well as being part of Animas Centre for Coaching, fully immersed in the world of coaching.
- Pay-as-you-go supervision
- One hour 1-1 online sessions
- Support between sessions via Whatsapp or Signal
To keep things simple, fees are £150 for a one hour supervision session. You pay the fee when you book your session.

Mentor Coaching for ICF ACC Credentials
ICF Approved Mentor Coaching for ACC credentials, based on the ICF Core Competencies
Mentor Coaching for ICF Credentials
Generally coaches don’t seek out mentor coaching unless they’re working towards their ICF credentials, and this is what I did too. But you can benefit from Mentor Coaching at any time as a way to continue to develop your skills as a coach, particularly if you’re keen to work in a way that’s aligned to the ICF core competencies.
You’ll be learning more about how to develop your coaching through the lens of the ICF core competencies, and preparing yourself for your first ACC credential, or your ACC renewal.
You might have seen above that I qualified as a coach with Animas Centre for Coaching in 2015, and worked with them as a mentor and group supervisor until 2019 when I became their Head of Operations, supporting their coaches-in-training over hundreds of hours during that time. I loved the mentoring element of the role, and since the course was aligned to the ICF core competencies, and a route into the ICF ACC credential, I’ve spent a lot of time getting to know the core competencies. I’ve evaluated hundreds of recorded coaching sessions for new and experienced coaches, and can offer crtitical, constructive feedback on coaching skills and ICF Core Competencies.
I continue to coach, mentor, and supervise as well as being part of Animas Centre for Coaching, fully immersed in the world of coaching. Because of the connection to coach training and ICF, I’m connecting with the ICF in some way most days.
I’m an ACC coach in my second cycle (which means I’ve been an ACC for more than three years and have been through a renewal of my credential) and I’m currently receiving mentoring myself as I work towards my PCC.
As part of my own development I’m a member of the ICF, engaging with their community hub and communities of practice, and taking advantage of all the learning opportunities they offer. I love working with other coaches on their development, and being an approved ICF Mentor Coach gives me an additional opportunity to do this.
- Exclusive 1-1 Mentor Coaching for a total of 10 hours to meet the ICF requirement
- Developmental feedback on your recorded coaching sessions as well as an exploration of the ICF Core Competencies in readiness for the ACC credential
- Momentum Mentor Coaching Programme £900 (includes 10 hours of mentoring)
- Instalments available
