Walking for Wellbeing – Walk and Talk at Heartwood Forest, St Albans – Saturday 15th June 2019

This walk is for you if you're looking for some peaceful time away from the hustle of life, or if you have too many things going on in your head and you need space to think and get some clarity.

Quieten your busy mind, take some time for you, and connect with others outside in the fresh air on this leisurely walk and talk hosted by Life Coach Ruth Randall. You can walk, talk, listen, reflect, get some gentle exercise and space to think. What a great way to start your weekend.

Join in as much or as little as you want to. Whether you want to chat, or space to be with your thoughts, you'll get some clarity and be re-energised and refocused just by getting some fresh air and walking in nature at Heartwood Forest.

The session involves three core elements:

Presence:

A short, mindful walking meditation to enable you to relax into the space, let go of stress and clear your mind.

Connection:

Walk and talk to connect with others on the walk. Talk to people outside of your usual circle and have different conversations.

Intention:

After giving ourselves the space to relax, let go, and connect, this is where we can use our clearer thinking to purposefully set our goals and intentions for the day or week ahead.

Location: Heartwood Forest, Sandridge, St Albans AL4 7DQ

Fee: £5.00 payable at the start of the session (first session free)

Parking: Allow plenty of time to park and be aware of local parking charges or restrictions.Heartwood car park can get busy, so you might want to arrive early to get a space,or allow extra time to park in the village and walk up.

Preparation: Dress for the weather and your comfort, bring anything you think you need.
